Congratulations on your retirement TIM URISTA!

On October 1^st Tim will be enjoying life as a retiree!  Tim began his career in the plumbing industry in 1968, in 1989 became a Plumbing Inspector for the City of Minneapolis, in 2001 worked at the JAC Office and in 2002 Tim became a business agent where he finished out his career.

Tim served on a variety of committees & helped out at all locally sponsored events!

Thanks Tim, We’ll miss you!  Enjoy your retirement!

JAC News - Journeyman Training:

The Minneapolis Plumbers J.A.C will be offering the following classes:

OSHA 10 Certification:  This is a 4 night class from 5:30 – 9:00 pm on October 3, 10^th, 17^th and 24^th.  You must attend all classes to become certified.

Low Voltage/Power Limited Continuing Education for members already certified.  This is a two night class, January 9 and 11, 2012 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm.  You must attend both nights for credit.

Gas Code Review:  This is a 3 night refresher for those interested in taking the city exam for the journeyman or master competency card.   Classes will be held October 20^th, 27^th and November 10^th from 5:00 – 9:00 pm.

Please call the office at 612-374-5262 to reserve a spot if you are interested in attending any of these classes.  Classes will be held at the Plumbing Technology Building located on the Dunwoody Campus.

Open Brazing: For members that are med gas certified who are not working or not brazing at work and want to keep up to date with brazing can braze at the Union Hall the 1^st Thursday of each month, prior to the union meeting, between 3:30 and 6:00 pm.

Credit Union Deduction * (This is not a bill)

On November 1st, 2011 we will be deducting $40.00 from your credit union account to cover death assessments #13-20. This only applies to members who have their union dues & death assessments deducted from their MN Bldg Trades Credit Union account.
